But first, Here is some info about Combat Athlete/Comp Team Tryouts:

Victory will be hosting tryouts for our
Combat Athlete Program and Comp Team.

This program is for the individual who wants
to take his/her training to the next level.

It includes sparring and a very rigorous strength
and conditioning program as well as nutrition guidance,
body fat testing and one on one coaching.

You will train as if you are going in to the cage.
However, for some that is not their goal. But, they
want to train as if they were going in anyway.

Others want to test themselves through the training
and in the cage.

Do one of these sound like you.

If so, ask Your Instructor for a application.
You must have them filled out by the Thursday June 11th.

The actual tryout will be Monday June 15th at the
Orland Academy at 7pm in the Combat room in the back of the gym.

This tryout is for both schools.

If you are the type of man that loves a challenge and
wants to be put under the discipline of hard training
to become the best that they can be...than this program
is for you.

PS. If you are accepted into the program you will need
to follow the guidelines to a "T".
We already have a full team and cannot
work with people who are unwilling to give it
their best and comply with the program.

In fact, we have other teams from other schools who want to
bring their athletes to our practices.

Needless to say, we want to work with those who are
truly interested in reaching their potential regardless
if you want to go into the cage or not.

All these guys are more than ready, i can see it in there eyes when they train and when just sit around and talk about, its time we show what victory martial arts is all about, like Anthony said these other teams know where coming and this is a little bit bigger of a taste than what they have seen. Update:
When I can't make it the fights, I 'm always checking to see what happened. So in case anyone wasn't there:

Mark won a majority decision, it was a great battle.

Mo and AJ both had dominate performances ending with Tko's (strikes on the ground)

Tony's opponent was forced to pull out before the fight due to medical issues.

Everyone's training showed in the cage.

Great fights last night!! Congrats to all of you on your "victory's". I had a guy come up to me and ask "man do any of the victory fighters ever loose"??? I replied well not tonight.

What tremendous people we have involved in the academy, we are not only winners in the cage, but winners outside the cage. As I looked at the section of supporters we had in the seats i realized what a blessing it is to be around all of you. Congrats to my guys who stepped foot in the cage and represented Victory with honor and courage, and congrats to the Victory family who represented Victory with class and professionalism....We will see you in the dojo.....Hey fighters what was Saturday night? Just another day where?
