Combat Athlete & Comp Team Tryouts Info

Victory will be hosting tryouts for our
Combat Athlete Program and Comp Team.

This program is for the individual who wants
to take his/her training to the next level.

It includes sparring and a very rigorous strength
and conditioning program as well as nutrition guidance,
body fat testing and one on one coaching.

You will train as if you are going in to the cage.
However, for some that is not their goal. But, they
want to train as if they were going in anyway.

Others want to test themselves through the training
and in the cage.

Do one of these sound like you.

If so, we will be handing out applications next week
in class.

You must have them filled out by the Thursday June 11th.

The actual tryout will be Monday June 15th at the
Orland Academy at 7pm in the Combat room in the back of the gym.

This tryout is for both schools.

If you are the type of man that loves a challange and
wants to be put under the discipline of hard training
to become the best that they can be...than this program
is for you.

PS. If you are accepted into the program you will need
to follow the guidelines to a "T".
We already have a full team and cannot
work with people who are unwilling to give it
their best and comply with the program.

In fact, we have other teams from other schools who want to
bring their athletes to our practices.

Needless to say, we want to work with those who are
truly interested in reaching their potential regardless
if you want to go into the cage or not.

Just wanted to stop in and say congrats to Scott Vargas for showing great technique and taking home the sword.

Other Victory members had good showings and some took home medals of their own. Everyone showed good attitudes, supported their teammates, and represented Victory well. Good job to all who competed:

Hey Victory Family:

Just want to send a shout out to all who competed in NAGA--that is truly an accomplishment in & of itself! Scott, as always, your dedication, training, and focus are truly inspirational!

And best of luck to Tony Bertolli, Mark Mack, and our other combat team members who are fighting in Sandwich IL next Saturday (June 13)--you rock!!!
